Innovative and sustainable photovoltaic system
The project by LumenWatt has been awarded
International award for the new photovoltaic system by NBC Elettronica Group, realised by the Morbegno-based company LumenWatt, a Valtellina excellence in the photovoltaic and lighting sector, for the “commercial and industrial” category.
NBC Elettronica Group has always been attentive to everything that can benefit the environment and our territory – comments Gianluca Bassanelli, managing director of NBC Elettronica -. With this photovoltaic system we are self-sufficient for over 50% of the energy consumption of our production departments. We thank LumenWatt who supported us in every phase of the study and implementation of the project and understood our needs well.”
The Jinko Solar Awards 2023 granted the recognition in recent months with a jury made up of technicians from around the world.
A choice for the environment and the territory
The new photovoltaic system has been installed at the production site of NBC Elettronica, in the municipality of Delebio. “We made this choice to contribute to the environment with more sustainable solutions – continues Bassanelli -. Nowadays there is a lot of talk about environmental impact, virtuous processes and this is the least that a business can do to try to create a better future. In this sense, the expertise and experience of the technicians at LumenWatt have been a great support for us.”
“It is always important for us to identify and meet the client’s request – explains Thomas Acquistapace, CEO of LumenWatt -. In the case of NBC, the goal that was to be achieved was well defined: to reduce energy costs without modifying the structure of the production plant. Additionally, our knowledge of the territory allowed us to study the most innovative and efficient solution.”
A recognized and supported commitment
The collaboration between the two Valtellinese companies and the recognition obtained have generated great interest in local news outlets both for the innovative processes applied to the system and for the highly positive impact it will have on the territory. “Initiatives like this are good for the environment and the territory in which our production realities are embedded – concludes Bassanelli -. Our commitment continues in this direction every day to develop always new technological solutions with particular attention to what surrounds us.”
