Lifeline, together for safety
Partnership to protect operators and workers
NBC Electronics Group, always attentive to the safety of its operators and workers, has decided to take another step forward in terms of quality, safety and prevention, starting a new partnership with the Lifeline Association, which is responsible for protecting operators, especially those at risk of ‘falls from height’.
The association, since its inception in June 2005, has been committed to promoting and spreading the culture of prevention, protection, and hygiene in the workplace, and today counts over 4000 members as well as more than 200 companies that have benefited from training and updates for those working at height.
Why is correct information important
According to a study conducted by the Info.Mo surveillance system, in the period between 2014 and 2018, it emerged that 50% of accidents occurring in the construction sector are caused by falls from height of the individuals involved.
Most of these accidents are related to issues with the operational methods of workers, not necessarily attributable to their direct responsibility, but rather to managerial gaps that have prevented them from performing the work safely.
Training and updates to avoid accidents
Occupational accidents are a significant problem in Italy and unfortunately have considerable figures. According to the Inail data updated in 2022, there were approximately 700,000 work accidents in Italy. In this regard, many organizations and associations have moved to try to contain and reduce the number of incidents.
Among these, Lifeline Association constantly offers refresher courses, ensuring full technical support with free training from day one.
